Well i for one am very much happier this morning learning that the uk guys(hopefully every other player too)that was owed monies from the North American open have received their cheques:) or had them wired.
Now before anyone comes on here and Points out the time scale yadda yadda yadda,we have all heard that before and it is totally correct,they should of had it already,but al that ground has been covered to death.
My reason for feeling much more hopefull for the IPT"s longevity is why on earth would kt be paying the monies owed from the N.A.O. if he was going to fold the IPT.
I for one think this a fantastic sign that KT intends to honour all monies owed to all the players.
This can certainly be a case for the glass half full or half empty whichever your veiwpoint is,but for me the glass is certainly half full.
Well done guys enjoy your money you deserve every cent for your patience and discretion.

Good job Rob. You're a good guy and you deserve every penny you've earned. That may also mean Marcus C. got his 30K he was sweating.
 
Hello Jay and thanks for the comment,i wasnt one of the guys who were owed money though as i got my itn number sorted earlier than the other guys,but for me it is certainly good news and hope springs eternal as they say:-)
 
Isn't it amazing how a post like this only gets one reply?

I can not defend the delayed payments and stalling tactics of the IPT and Kevin has admitted that his handling of the situation should have been much different. He has deservedly been hauled over the coals for this.

However, lets retain some sense of balance. If the IPT fails KT will have lost an awful lot of money. He still beleives in the tour as the recent payments to players have to indicate.

Can people not give him some benefit of the doubt until Chicago? Much of what he has said regarding funding does make sense. There will be plenty of time to crucify him and raise law suits etc after Chicago IF he does not deliver.

I think he will.

There is nothing left to say. The supporters' side of this argument is so weak and pathetic, responding to it would be like beating up an old lady, just for the fun of it. Even the evil doommongers lack the stomach for such an atrocity.

Enjoy your remaining glimmer of optimism. I hear in the next release of Bambi, his mommy won't get shot by the mean-evil humans. I'm hoping.....hoping....

Well the UK lads are $200.000 more optomistic than last week, and all was not without hope then!!!!!!!!!

Expensive contact lense, surely even the most sceptical would have to acknowledge payment of these sums in the current circumstances as a positive?

You and the 15 can take all 22 of your pro IPT post and put them where the sun don't shine. We are yet to see if the worlds biggest con man is gonna save his lying azz by handing out the millions. YOU shoot your mouth off all the time and you just called this guy a liar for no reason. Why not just shut up if you can't be respectfull of someone else. His posts are just as welcome as yours even if he only has a few posts. I read posts all the time but don't say much because of the people like you. I'm confused. I know that nobody has been paid from Reno, but I wasn't aware that there were players still waiting to get paid from Vegas. I was under the impression that those checks went out just a couple of weeks after the NAO.

I only post when I feel I have something to contribute and I don't like to be drawn into pointless arguements about speculation.

I am not blind to the current issues surrounding the IPT, in fact I acknowledge them in my posts.

I just know there are many players out there looking for some hope, this is their chance and they are desperate for it to work and I hope it does. Most are not in comfortable financial situations and they will take their chances knowing the risks.

Yes there are serious issues, but the game is not over yet, there is still hope. I am pro IPT while this hope exists and believe we should wait and see.

If committments are not met then I would advocate all action possilbe to ensure players are paid and KT suffers the full consequences for any fraud but this has not happened yet and I don't think it will.

Is it so bad to hope for the best?

Yes, I would say it if he was standing in front of me. I would say it to you also. I am 57 years old and weigh 233 pounds and am 6' 1". My name is Don Purdy and most people on this forum know that. I also hope all the players get paid. I hate to see the future of this game I love tied to a scumbucket lying conman like KT. I have no problem with your hope because I hope too. The image of pool will not be changed by KT, it will only worsen to people who have integrity and respect towards one another. Those not blinded by the cash! I am with ya on everybody getting paid!

Some Europeans apparenlty asked to have their funds held, pending wire transfer, IIRC. I'm fairly certain no one will opt for that method in the future (if there is a future).

ah a tough guy!!! Well I am 6 ft 200 lbs so your size is nothing to me, was that supposed to scare me? My problem is people who make personal attacks on the posters.
