Engert one rack away from winning his first USA Tournament

The thread title is not accurate. Engert won the 2004 International Challenge of Champions at Mohegan Sun in Connecticutt.

LOL! I thought the exact same thing when I saw the thread title.
 
Well, I meant his first tournament that wasn't inviational that you had to play a bigger field than 8 players.
I think there is a little difference between playing 3 matches races to 5 9Ball and 7-8 matches races to 9 ten ball.

But yes, Challenge of Champions was won by Engert. Engert did admit The UPA Predator FL OPen was his first real tournament win here in USA.
