Does anyone make a good set of 7 reds, 7 yellows, and the black 8-ball, as used in England, in US size balls (2 1/4")?

Also, does anyone make a set of snooker balls with only 10 reds, as they do for playing snooker on English small pool tables, but in US size? (I think I can get an entire set with 15 reds in US size, and just not play with the "extra" 5 reds).

I'm partial to Aramith, but will take what is available on the market of good quality.

Funny you should ask this...I searched and searched in the US for a set of UK Blackballs... I ended up having a friend of mine that lives in London buy them for me there. They're being shipped to me now, in fact.

The only problem was that the shipping was twice as much as the balls.

Mine are made by Aramith.

CMarshall, I think the standard UK ones are 2", and I wanted the bigger ones.

"Casino balls" - I had forgotten about that name. Two great sources above, joerackem (Nielsen's Billiards) and Muellers:thumbup:. Problem solved.

Thanks folks!

Me too! He got me the 57mm size...I knew EXACTLY what I was looking for. Same size as US balls....

But, good point, for sure!

Same thing for the snooker set if you want the 10 reds - Aramith makes the Snooker Premium in a 2.25" unnumbered version - as well as the numbered version if you wanted those - a great set to have. Numerous online vendors have them.

I got the numbered ones so I don't have to remember how many points each is worth. I'm lucky to remember my name, my wife's name, and the dog's name - and sometimes I get them mixed up, but am quickly corrected.

I gotta read up on the rules though, I'm assuming it's the same as 8 ball?
