Enough with the Kevin Trudeau threads (spot the irony?)

I noticed recently that there have been dozens of threads "reminding" us all of Kevin Trudeau's past. Most of the frequent forum users have discussed this topic to death and just want to wait and see what Kevin and his new IPT tour will bring.

Everyone in the universe knows about Kevin Trudeau, especially after the Extra! television expose that just aired yesterday, (probably the reason for the inflated K.T. interest).

The occasional lurkers who are unfamiliar with these threads keep reposting the same Smokinggun or FCC web-links over and over again. Here's a hint, we all know, and most are willing to give the guy a chance since he is the one taking all the risk, (reputation & financial).

Knowing full well that these same lurkers are not doing a forum search before posting, this thread is probably a waste of my time, however....

Enough with the damned "Did you realize that...." Kevin Trudeau threads. Give the guy, and the IPT tour a chance and button the old lip.

That remains to be seen....If this thread goes in the direction I think it might .....You will have started yet another KT bashfest....

Rage!!

Ok I will forget the weblinks and the smoking gun websites how about the man is a BOLD FACED LIAR he goes on National Television and announces that he has a cure for numerous diseases, in his book more importantly to me Muscular Dystrophy! and its all a farce, Thats a little too personal to over look, No Irony here just good old fasioned rage!
 
All I can say about the guy is, he's got the money and the desire to help the sport of pool. And I don't know about his past or his scams, but, I will gladly take any money he wants to put into the sport. Pool needs this money.

As for any of his health claims, I'm sorry they may not work, but people have been selling snake oil for ever. Some just see through it and don't waste their money.

Did you realize the president has a DWI conviction.

Did you realize the one before him was a pardoned felon when he took office.

Did you realize that if you investigated every member on the pro tour and every member of this forum, myself included, you could find a few colorful stories.

This is COMPLETELY untrue, get your facts straight


Since former President Bill Clinton was never charged with evasion of the draft, he cannot be a fugitive from justice. Since he was never charged, he could not be convicted. Since he was never convicted, he could not be pardoned. He was not pardoned for anything by Jimmy Carter or any other former President of the United States. While Carter DID indeed pardon all Viet Nam war draft dodgers on that date, Bill Clinton was not among them because he was never considered to be one

The facts are against you, thousands came back from canada who had never been "charged" and most draft dodgers were not pursued.

To avoid a hair splitting contest I will amend my statement to "he was an admitted felon when he left office who had been disbarred."

My point was NOT to make this a political argument, which is why I brought up issues with each...and I am a fan of neither...so let's not let it devolve into one.

The point is that many many many people have issues in their past. If they have paid the debt to society as prescribed by the legal system then let it drop.

I don't know one way or another whether Mr Trudeau still is a criminal or if he is a model citizen. I do know he has brought more money and attention to pro billiards than ever before and i see no evidence to lead me to believe that it is being done illegally or unethicly.

If anyone has something germaine to that issue please list it. If not please let it die.
