Epoxy /Pin Question

Ah, this might also be of some service.

When I was playing league Friday night, every few shots the "hit" felt different and it was because the hold had loosened between the shaft, thread, and butt. You could feel that the shaft wasn't sitting flush with the butt.

The third time around the pin kept spinning with the shaft, and I put the cue away to use my back-up.

Looking down the bore, there are no traces, not even lines that would indicate it was threaded ever. Although, the very very bottom of the bore might have threads.

After reading all of your issues, I have to ask this:
Is this a new cue you purchased or 2nd hand?
There is no such thing as a stock collar size. But if the Cue maker uses mandrells to finish his cues. Then the finish size would be standard for his cues.
I would start with the original Cue maker first. Talk about all of your issues and go from there. If that doesn't work out and you like the cue, then you could search to have it repaired properly.
