...and with the DCC approaching Durbin will be sure to be in stroke.

Eric Durbin is among the players listed on the Glass City Open website, which begins this week, November 10-14th!

Below is Eric at the 2003 U.S. Open with Keith. :)

What is the website for the Glass City Open?

Christy, here it is: Glass City Open website

When the website comes up, click on the button bar located on the left-hand side which is entitled "Who's In?" Eric Durbin's name appears on the left column, about 10 names down, right underneath Danny Harriman.

Here's a few of my pictures taken at 2002 and 2003 Glass City Open: JAM and KM's pictures taken at '02 and '03 GCO

:) :) :)

I can only assume you all are talking about "Junior" Weldon.
He is also an OldHasBeen from the 70's & 80's & I am glad to hear he is doing well. Great Player & Gentleman.
Orig. form Okla but has been from Maine to Spain & Austin to Boston.
Used to have a nice room in Phoenix - The Golden 8 Ball, I think.
He has always been a real "Gun-Fighter" and won't back away from any big challenge. When you play him - You better "Bring Your Lunch" & "Play Your Best"
Louie had many a match w/ Junior. Some of the best 9-Ball I've seen.
I got lucky on him in Pontiac, MI about 30 years ago (playing one-pocket) but I didn't know him then. I still think I may have just run off with "The Lemon-Aid"
Last saw him here in St. Louis when I got a call @ 3am to go see who was "Taking Off" One of MY best Suckers. Him & Cadillac Jack were here to get this sucker who I had playing Vernon Elliott during the day wearing a local gas co. uniform. I HAVE NEVER BEEN A KNOCKER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE, but I couldn't let Jack & Junior take off this sucker. I explained my situation to Junior in the bathroom and he UNDERSTOOD COMPLETELY.
WHAT A NICE GUY!
We went back out & told the Sucker who he was playing and, as most suckers, he still wanted to play and insisted that I match up a "Fair Game". I matched them up at 11 to 5 & 11 to 6. THEY HAD BEEN PLAYING $500 A GAME EVEN.
As luck would have it - Cadillac Jack & I started to play Gin for $200 a game while Junior & John played. Lets just say that Cadillac Jack played a lot better Pool than he did Gin.
When "school let out" - Junior won $1,000 & I won $2,500. Jack was "IN" with Junior & I (as usual) was "On My Own".
If anyone knows where Junior is - Tell him there is "His Kind Of Action" right here in St. Louis - NOW !!!
Look into my profile, Go to my website & get with me.
TY & GL

I thought Weldon was from Indiana. He did have a room in Scottsdale as I recall. He also owned one in Tucson when I lived down there. He and I was close to the same speed except he bet more. It's been 20 years or better since I've seen him. I heard he had a room in Tenn but that's where I lost his trail.

Good guy for sure and good player. I saw him play Ronnie Allen at the Golden cue in Scottsdale?. Allen was playing one handed jacked up, Weldon giving him 9 to 7. Way to many years for me to remember but they went back and forth for over a day. It was X amount games ahead for a grand.
