Very nice solid playing cue here. Bacote Buttpiece and nice Curly/Birdseye forearm. Has weight bolt so weight can be adjusted .
Standard length. Not sure of ferrule material but has a new triangle tip.

Ernie Martinez Custom Cue, Butt is made from a nicely figured straight grain Bacote
and a beautiful Birdseye Maple forearm. Brass 3/8-10 pin with engraving. Logo on buttcap.
Butt is 29 inches, 14.1 oz with no weight added. Weight bolt system, cue came with a 1.8oz bolt.
Shaftwood is very dense, shaft weighs 3.4oz at 12.9mm.
I have installed a 1/2oz bolt so the cue weighs 18oz with a 19" balance point.

Just took the cue down to the poolroom, I've had a couple of people ask about the straightness of the cue.
Cue rolls flat on the table, apart and together. Very slight movement when you roll it on the rail..

a friend of mine has this same cue and I have played with it.
Very solid and so well balanced it's like its not there, it just floats back and forth.
This is a pure player.
 
Movin it up

With a Price reduction, I have a 1/2 oz bolt in it , weighs in at 18 oz, balances at 19" forward of Butt... great playing cue, dense shaftwood.
 
Well bought sir. A lot of cue for the money. Own several martinez cues and the playability is outstanding. Enjoy your new cue.

Thanks Keith, that's what I'm hoping for, a great player. Never handled one of these but hear nothing but good things.
 
You will not be disappointed. Great looking too love the wrapless. I know ernie and he is very meticulous about his wood selection. There is a reason these are very sought after.
