I visited with Ernie Martinez today and took a few pics. He still needs to add the inlays in the points, and 4 silver dots in a diamond pattern between the ivory ovals in the ring work. Cue will be wrapless. 6 pointer with 2 re-cuts in each point (some would call it an 18 pointer). Forearm is Macassar ebony with curly maple points recut with cocobola, recut with gaboon ebony. Birds eye handle. 12" Birds eye extension being made also. 4 shafts including 1 birds eye shaft. I own many cues, but I am the most excited about this one! Thanks Ernie, you are a living legend.

Ernie Martinez

Great pics of Ernie and your cue. Ernie made me a cue in early 1990's. One of the cues I regretted selling. Enjoy your cue

Yes...

A great cue...from a great cuemaker...I owned one of his early SW style cues...I regret selling it too!!! 60" cue to boot!

I saw this cue in person over the weekend - it is much more elegant than the pics can show, although the pics are great. I can't wait to see the finished product.

You are a lucky man!

Dave

You need to bring this cue to "Hanks" and we bless it with a drop of his water.

Ernie and I picked out the shafts today, and he thinks he will have the cue done in about a week. That means 2-3 weeks in reality. I will bring it down when I get it, and maybe a few other cues too.

I'm glad that Ernie has the Altoids handy...
Very nice EM, hope to see it in about 6-weeks
