Where is all this action at? I'd like to get in on it
Always action at the Flamingo on a Friday and Saturday nights, we usually start off with a ring game in the evening then stop when someone want's to play a set of 9Ball or 1P.
As far as other places, check with Mike (Ace), I know there are some players at Crooked cue in Largo and some action at Fatso's in Tampa, but I don't know who or when, I have not been to Fatso's since the early 90's when I was playing in tournaments, and was only at Croked cue once about a year ago just to test out a cue, Flamingo is the only place I play.:grin-square:
Dale is the only one with any real gamble in the flamingo and besides that everyone else in tampa are nits
James roberts and justin hall are really the only guys with any gamble. You said you had deep pockets not looking for 5 ahead for 20 but there are few guys that will play if there stealing.
have not seen Justin or johnny rocket at the Flamingo since winter before last, just after that Richie Rich hung around for a while, then Mike Davis,
Mike didn't play 1P, but nobody could touch him at 9Ball. There was a young fella that came over to the Flamingo from fatso's that played Richie a couple sets of 9Ball, don't recall his name, super nice guy, excellent player, had some old guy stakin him.

Rocket went back to Wisconsin and justin stays towards hammerheads I used to come there with justin when I lived there been coming there for years is JR still hanging out there

Yea JD never had a dollar just talk dale into staking him. I remember I used to rob him playing nine ball and he kept beging me to play one pocket so i finally robbed him at that to I'm sure we have seen each other there I was the big guy that used to come from bradenton
LOL yeah, nuthing has changed with JD, Dale banned him a few times over the years, but then he gets a painting job, clears his debt and gets to come back, overall a nice guy, but gets a little cocky with too many cocktails in him.
I think I remember you, did you shoot with an oden or omen something like that? did you play Jim when he was around before him & Squirell moved back up north, or did you match up with that road player Glenn?
I was the big guy always wearing black, carried a justis plain leather case, shot with an old Palmer, use to sit in the barber chair in the dark corner until someone mentioned one pocket, used to match up with Jeff Brinkman aka Piano man.
they call me Scotty the body I use to mainly play Dale anx JD I started coming there when I was a kid back when Ricky the rocket and old man George hung around they were cool people I never played Jim or the piano man but I was always Betting when Justin busted them we brought Justin Bergman from Saint Louis in there when he was only 14 and busted the piano man with his lollipop in his mouth Dale couldn't believe these little kids were busting his horse those were good times.
I use to travel for my job, so was not around all the time. George still makes it up there sometimes on a Saturday night, he can still hit 9 out of 10 on those wing shots, around 06 or so, rocket got thrown in jail and was gone for a long time, then someone told me he got work over on the other coast towards daytona, he was into brinkman for a bunch from gettin robbed at one hole LOL.
I think I remember you, were you there the night I played Trinny? he came over from Orlando with Jessie and Ronnie Wiesman.
Yes I was there me and justin came over to see if ronnie wanted to do something I haven't heard from trinny in awhile he is probably still hidding the little red ball....lol

Sometimes its not if you have the heart to get up and play its about building your confidence and when you make good games you can win your confidence gets higher and so does your gear. Your a great player james you don't have to wonder that buddy for sure. But playing games you can't win breaks you down. Just some advice from your ball banger buddy.

Yes. Players Club on Aurora Rd., Poolies on Palm Bay Rd., Island Breakers and Chalkies in Merritt Island. If anyone is in the area PM me, always looking to play with other junkies. I wont gamble though.
I also found out last week Pete Ohman is out of Melbourne. Lot of cuemakers in FL. too. Kenny Murrell is my fav in FL.
