Escrow anyone?

Hi, I'm new to this site and i have a cue for sale.

I'm ready to use an escrow service but not exactly sure what it is.

If anyone wouldn't mind explaining it to me like i'm five.

Also, if you're willing to offer escrow, i'm interested.

Thanks.

Send a PM to breakandrun on here. His name is Kirby Navarrete, if he offer escrow at a cheap fee, you should go for him. He's the best guy in my books for escrow.

I offer free escrow services as long as the shipping is paid for the extra hops. Essentially, you and your trade partner mail to me, I measure and detail everything to satisfy both parties questions. Once you are both satisfied, I ship the cues to the new owners. I've even described the hit if that's necessary.

I just love new cues coming into my hands to check various construction methods and finishes, that's why I do it for free. Knowledge is my reward.

Why escrow?

Good luck with your sale but why do you even need escrow? Your potential buyer may be the one that asks for escrow, but you as the seller do not necessarily need it.If you post a lot of good pics with accurate weights and measurements,a good description, etc the buyer can use PayPal Goods and Services and you will be ok if you pack and ship correctly.Hard tube or case in a box, etc. BTW,this post should be in the Main Forum and not the For Sale section.
I recommend Marcus for escrow if/when needed. He has been solid for years.Good luck to the OP.
Thanks.

My thinking is that as a new AZ member with no Itrader and he want's to have his ducks in a row. Especially if he's selling a highend cue and if there is interest by any perspective buyers he can recommend escrow services to save time on the buyers end. I once purchased a Gus Szamboti from someone and the seller actually paid the escrow holder so as to not hold anything up. A small price to pay considering the value/cost of the cue.

While this thread clearly shows that the member is not selling anything...one can say that since the question is sales related posting on both forums would be appropriate.

Good luck...
