I hear so often people worried about getting ripped off.

it is impossible to be completely taken with this site. yes, you will be out some fees if your deal falls through, and return shipping, but you will get your funds back.

You can't use them to verify the value of a cue or anything like that, but you will get your goods, get a chance to inspect and then approve them, and be able to return them without fear of losing too much money.

What's puzzling about it? With escrow.com you get to see the goods in person before approving release of funds. I would personally prefer this route.
