I had a bid of 500 for this cue on ebay and the listing was pulled and has magically reappeared on ebay with a starting bid of 999. I read something a while back on here about this seller. Is he a dirtbag? Seems like a dirtbag move, if you are going to put something on ebay for sale don't pull the auction because it's not getting what you want. Good luck with your sale cuemaster98!

He did the same thing TWICE with a Jerry Olivier cue. But he isn't the only ebay seller that does this on a regular basis.

I agree with you. It you want a minimum price either put a reservie on the item or establish your minimum as the required starting bid.

Yeah, it happens a lot.

People do not want to pay for the Reserve fees or Buy it Now/Best Offer fees - which are more than a open auction, so they watch the bids and can legally kill the auction before the under 12 hour mark is made. This way, they pay a lesser fee to Ebay for the auction. Doing this 3 - 4 times is less than selling a high priced item with a reserve. It isn't right, and can cause you to spend time on an item, that you will never get, because the true price is not listed by the seller.
This is wrong in every way, but it seems to be alright by Ebay, because they still get their $$$.
But I feel if you know what you want for an item, sell it like that. All you do is lose your credibility as a trustworthy seller. Attention is not always a good thing.

Cuemaster98 does post on AZB. Contact him if you have a problem with his methods.
I thought I recognized his name, I just think it's a bad way of doing business and I want everyone to know about bad business people! If he wants to defend his actions then he can contact me.

The auction was cancelled by ebay and I may have considered letting the auction go as there were quite a lot of watchers on the espiritu. After ebay cancelled the auction, I had a few offers for trade and cash that I'm still considering. It's back up on Ebay until I decide what I would like to do. If you are interested, please PM me an offer for the cue.

The auction clearly state that "we reserve the right to cancel the auction at anytime and for any reason"!!! PLEASE DO NOT BID, IF THIS IS AN ISSUE FOR YOU.

Thank You.

First off, it was not an issue for me because I placed several bids the first time and secondly, why would ebay pull a legitimate auction?

It just seems a little fishy to me that here two days later it pops up for $500 MORE than what it was at before. I can guarantee you that I WILL NOT bid on it again.

If ebay pulled the auction and you had nothing to do with it then you should start the auction at what it was before not almost double.

You're welcome.

Ebay pulled it?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
I guess Ebay knew it was worth more, and didn't want him to sell it so cheaply. That is why Ebay cancelled the auction, and DEMANDED he create the same one for $500 more. Aren't those Ebay folks just great. Always looking out for the little guy. I commend Ebay on its seller protection on this one. Where would we be without Ebay?
