anyone have any info on espiritu cues im lookin to buy one and jus wondering if its worth the money or go with somethin else looking for opinions

I have known Russ Espiritu for ten years and his cues have gotten better and better. In my opinion they hit good and you get a lot of decoration for the money. I have a custom Espiritu that never fails to get attention whereever I take it, great work and a great price.

Pretty much any new Espiritu will be a one-of-a-kind as that is all Russ does now. So, in my opinon the cues are a good choice.

I agree John. Russ lives just down the road and he does do very good work. Especially for the $$$$$.

I have an Espiritu also and love it. The detail, the craftsmanship and playability are dynamite. I'd recommend one to anyone. Check out www.onthehill.net for a good selection of Espiritu cues.

espiritu cues

i think they play pretty well for the $$$ you pay. i played with one last night as a matter of fact and after i found the on switch it didnt miss a ball. it ran a 7 pack for me (3 b&r, 9 on the snap, 3 more b&r) in a row. off the coin flip. so i was on the hill before my opponent ever got out of his chair. (8 ahead set for 500) after that i offered the guy 400 for the jump break sneakypete and he said no of course. so i think very highly of his work.

Purdman- Got an Espiritu with curly maple and ebony? What about any other cues with the same wood? How's everything on your end my friend? Is the hand healed to 100% or close?

Prather Cues Update-- I read that the thief has been caught and the search for the truck with the cues is still in effect! (I read this on www.prathercue.com)

Thanx,
Zim

The Cue

Mr. Purdy,
please also email me the pictures of the cue and what you are asking for it. i am going to be in the market for a new one. i would prefer a nice jump break, like a espiritu or an andy gilbert, but email me the pictures of the cue. i will send you a PM with my email address.

Espiritu cues

I bought one of his cues about 10 years ago. It was one of the best cues that I have played with. I let a friend talk me out of it in 95' or 96' when I had stopped playing. I wish I had it back now that I have started hitting balls again. I'm glad to see that he is doing well and still makes great cues. Does anyone have an e-mail address for him?
