3:00 a.m. in new york. espn just ran a "what's comming on tonight" commercial. they showed different sports, then they showed sudden death 7-ball, and said, "and we wrap it up with sudden death 7-ball at 9." wow, i almost fainted! that was the first time, i ever saw them promo pool! thank you ESPN!

any idea who's playing? I see it's 4 hours and it's set in Baltimore, but i don't know when.

This is a first as far as I can tell. Sadly they have already said they were not going to promote "billiards month". I don't know why. I mean how many SportsCenter promos are enough?

They promote bowling a lot. I guess it gets higher ratings.

well just look at the place that they play 7-ball anyways kinda like a joke.......last time i've watched it you could hear loud sounds of arcade in the backround.

Those were slot machines you heard. It's taped in a casino.

and I agree 7-ball is a joke for players at that level. Bustamante, with his break, is usually playing 4-ball :D

FACTS: sudden death 7-ball has arcades in the backround, taped at espn zone oct. 2003, very, highly obnoxious backround sound! secondly, the international challenge of champions has slot machine sounds, taped at the wolf den in mohegan sun ct. not as obnoxious, but still not serious, for pro pool. who is playing tonight? johnny archer. and as far as i'm concerned, 7-ball is a much, better game than 9-ball. it's faster, more exciting, and less safteys, and BULLSHIT kick and jump shots. thank you.

Are you out of your mind? Why not just play with two balls on the table and see if you can run out? Seven ball is made-for-TV mindless bullshit because the average viewer can't understand intricate safety play or the advanced kicking techniques of the pros. Obviously, they found their target audience in you (apparently, you're STRICTLY average). Every post I read from you further convinces me that you're not just average, you might be medically declared an idiot. I should think the self-proclaimed "8-ball champion of New York" would understand that safety play is an integral part of the game. Thanks for proving me wrong yet again - your lack of intelligence gives me a good laugh in the morning.
