Espn

I don't think ESPN has been a good vehicle for pool. I remember before ESPN had it ABC used to show the matches between Willie Mosconi and Minnesota Fats. ABC did a great job on those telecasts. The production was top notch and I think Jim McKay used to host it (I could be wrong but it was one of their top announcers). ESPN is a sports network that doesn't even show the main event shows. Take for example boxing, they don't show the big matches, HBO, Showtime and Pay per view shows them. I think letting ESPN have the exclusive rights to pool was a bad move. Even though the women are on it more than the men, they still aren't getting any real money out of it.

Aint that the truth, espn makes pool so boring it's no wonder no one wants to watch it, it has absolutely zero entertainment value. BORING
