Europe Mosconi Cup -Weaker team for 2014 ??

Europe chooses its Mosconi Cup team 3 from rankings and 2 wildcards
Based on current rankings, the 3 chosen based on rankings will likely be Niels, Van den berg and Albin Ouschan. The 2 wildcards will probably be from Appleton, Mika, Thorsten or Ralf- tough choices
IMHO Europe's strongest team will be Niels, Appleton, Mika, Thorsten, Ralf but looks like this year will have 2 younger ones, Van den berg and newbie Albin Ouschan
Regardless of team they choose, they should still be favorite

Vandenberg has been on the team before and performed well. Albin O just finished 2nd at the WPC to Niels, who won it. You don't think they are up to the task?

Yes sure we know van den berg was ex-Mosconian but if you were manager and had plenty of World Champs to choose wouldn't you choose all 5 World Champs and leave out non-World Champs like Van den berg and Ouschan. :grin:
But like I said even if they include Van den berg and Ouschan they would still be favorite.

The home team is gonna choke on too many breaks and get flustered. USA will be injured and bleeding but will come back like a sucker-punch out of nowhere for the karate-kid nosebleed inducing final shot.
