From what I've heard and researched, leaning very heavily toward it being B.Finck & Co. (Germany), but a few others have suggested it might be Hiolle (France). Anybody have any input?

This cool old cue rolls straight and may be available for sale in the near future.

Thanks for looking !!

almost certian that is an old Finck, have seen that pattern on some of there other cues. don't think Hollie ever did that type of design (not sure just doubt it). great find...

Sean,

I don't believe it is a Hiolle cue. I have 6-8 of them, and at one time remember chasing down their catalog history when researching mine. Although I am not 100% sure.

BTW, I believe there is a foldout Finck catalog in Stein's Billiard Encyclopedia. This may help you.

I AM sure it is a cool cue. Let me know if you decide to sell.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks everybody for all the feedback. Got several good PMs and a few phone calls with info. Definitely a B.Finck cue from Germany, and pretty certain it's pre-1900. If anyone wants to add some additional info, please do so or send me a PM.

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone !!
