Everyone was asked to evacuate the building and the tournament was halted. The firetrucks showed up. No fire apperently. They let us back in after about 45 minutes.

There was a stink bomb dropped in the middle of the night in the action room this year too! I think it was Tuesday night. About 100 people cleared out.

What usually happens when players are in action at the time? Do they agree to redo the game or do they leave the balls where they are and hope no one touches them when the fire department lets them back into the hotel.
When we were walking out the alarm was sounding and they made a announcement about clearing the room. It was rather noisy but a guy walking next to be started to get panicked and looked at me and asked did they say there is a CAR BOMB CAR BOMB. I guess you would have had to seen him.

It must something with pool tournaments in Louisville. There was an evac of the Clarion during the Qlympics. The alarm goes off and everyone leaves....about 10 minutes later I sneak back in to the TAR room and see Nasty just sitting in a chair by the wall...LOL. He says "If they think I am leaving all this crap in here by itself they are crazy!"
