i am interested in a one pocket to discuss only one pocket news,ideas,shots etc. is there enough interest here to start such a forum.
i have heard there is not much interest but i believe it is the best game and if there is to be a future for professional players it will either be straight pool or one pocket

you know, i play in a weekly all offense 8 ball tournament, ive grown to enjoy it more and more is the truth. having said that, i figured why not have an all defense (thus no offense) 8 ball tournament. if you call a ball and pocket it, it is a foul. we tried a game, it is more interesting than you may think to try and win at the end.

This is an interesting concept. How would you go about winning if you cannot pocket any balls by called shots, or put the 8 in a pocket?

Please elaborate, I'd love to hear more of the idea.
