Ewa Laurance - Jeanette Lee match yesterday on TV

Is it me or did Ewa Laurance look worn, haggard, and gaunt in the match on TV yesterday. I thought she was a model or something. Not sure how that is possible with the way she looked on TV. She looks better now than she did then. Maybe it was the fro turning me off. JMO.

I watched that, too, and I know where you're coming from. Ewa Mataya didn't look her best in that match. I don't think her makeup was quite right, and it made her look a bit pale However, in the post match presentation and interview , Ewa looked her very best. Like you, I like her better with her hair straight, but Ewa is, always has been, and probably always will be a very lovely lady.

I didn't get to see this match on tv but I will say, I've seen her in person and she is stunning. I mean, I never thought much of her one way or the other prior to meeting her. Once you do actually see her, she's breath-taking. She's also a class-act. I can't say I always agree with her style of game-commentary (she's a bit too friendly) but she's a perfect ambassador of the game.

I'll second that.

The first time I had a chance to chat wit hher was when I met her thru Carol Clark in Vegas. She is definately a class act; down to earth, easy going and always "on the lighter side of things". It's always a pleasure talking to people that are content with life.
