I just got off the phone with Nelson in Miami Nelsons billiards. He has the sister cue to this cue. They were made from specs of his Szam that he has played with for decades. He says he plays with the Rauenzahn copy now and it out plays his Szam! He has put his Szam up for his children and plays with the copy.

Bama has a nice Rauenzahn he got from me!

The cues are players for sure. And the price is right!

st what real Szamboti owners need,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,another copy to sort from the real thing

at least this one has a makers mark

Hello !!!!!

You do understand that is exactaly what one Szam owner needed. And if you play with a Szam and want to put it up it might be exactly for you too. He miked everything and Jerry made two of them. After this is gone that is it. And not only that but he is a money player in Maimi and he loves the copy and plays witht it now so get it while it is available or miss out. I personally think the cue should bring way more but $800.00 shipped is the price and There are more than one persons interested and one of them has probably owned 30 of Jerry's cues.

nick, i feel for the guy,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,got 3 as of now,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but id never quit playing with them,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Gus and Barry Szamboti are fine cues

replace the butt cap and we got another imposter to sort through is my point,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i guess imitation is the highest form of flattery

You are a lucky man!

No replacing and scamming for me. I just say Nelson loves his. If I had a Szam or 2 I might want a exact copy to play with. Keep in mind the cue will most likely be a spot on same size and balance cue. Honesty is best and I have posted the cue for Jerry. I make nothing here! The cue is a steal and I told one of Jerry's friend Mr Bruce about the cue and he said he might have to get it because it is just too pretty. He has seen the cue in person!
Thanks
Nick

Get it while you can!

It's a shame more 'pool players' don't try Jerry's cues - they hit as good as any that you would pay 2-3 times the amount for. He concentrates on playability, but is extremely knowledgeable and respectful of the masters like Szamboti, etc. - 5 minutes on the phone with him and you realize that, especially when it comes to Gus Szamboti. If you want a fantastic playing Titlist conversion that actually has the authentic look of a '60's-'70's Balabushka, etc. - cuemakers who used these same Titlist blanks to make their cues - call Jerry...Now I'm sounding like that DZ guy.

Go to my web-page and check out the second cue on the left - Jerry took a beat to hell 1940's Titlist house cue and made this beauty out of it. The first one on the left is a JR conversion of a really super beat to hell Hoppe 2-piece - traded it and should not have.

Thank you sir

I will tell Jerry of you kind words. Jerry was a road player and that has to help in the playability of his cues.. That and over 30 years building cues experience.
I did not check if the cue sold before or after you posted because I was working but it is sold!
That all folks!
Thanks for your time and interest!
Round two will knock your socks off!

Thanks Nick - Every time Jerry sends pics of a new cue, I am tempted to buy it, especially some of the 'Szamboti-inspired' prop designs (although I realize this one is an exact knock-off). He did one a few months ago with the marquetry (sp?) butt inlays that was really nice - I should have bought it. I have had several of his 5/16x14 joint cues, but his flat-faced ivory joints with 3/8x10 pin are my favorites.
