Exciting news for history buff!

Well, since you've officially spilled the beans, I guess it won't matter if I tell you that I spoke to Joe at length about this project last summer. It appears as though Brunswick is [Finally] going to create some kind of "museum" and/or archive of their history.

In theory, this a great move on Brunswick's part, and in theory, its great that Joe will finally get the credit he deserves for his decades of work. But - I'm still skeptical about the whole thing so I'll save my final opinions for later.

Nonetheless, it should be very interesting.
Congratulations Joe! They finally took the advice you've been giving them for eons!

oops

I didn't mean to spill the beans, but I had to share my excitement!
I understand that it is wise to reserve judgment, but I will say I'm optimistic about this project.

Joe Newell has always helped me....

Many times when I have asked for information about something, Joe has volunteered to send me something. I have a nice parchment reproduction of the Marquette table patent design page that he sent me, hung on the wall next to my Marquette. He has done that sort of thing for many people and is incredibly generous with his time. Thanks, Joe

Joe is great!

I spoke with Joe on the phone and came to the conclusion that he is a walking encyclopedia!
Any skepticism (not mine) is aimed at Brunswick or K State. I really hope nothing happens to derail this project.
