Diamond Tropical Hardwoods offers several species of exotic hardwood that are of interest to cuemakers. We have Granadillo, Goncalo Alves, Monkeypod, Yellowheart and Cocobolo, which is our specialty. The wood comes from Costa Rica and is environmentally certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. We have done business with cuemakers in the past and are looking to expand in that area. I can attest to the quality of this wood, the Coco anyway.
Some very outrageous figure to be sure.
I may never buy Mexican again.
It's not the cheapest Coco you'll ever buy but then who wants cheap Coco?

not the best picture, but this came from diamond
i bought 14 2x2x32 squares from them
you shoulda seen the old lady, had to be in her 60's that delivered it from dhl, trying to handle that package :rolleyes:
when i saw her struggling with it, i went out to the street to get it from her
geez! i think i struggled with it as much as she was :thumbup:
musta wieghed 75 pounds or more

How dry is the Cocobolo? How long before it can be used? At my age I can't wait 6 or 8 years for the wood to dry.
