Much is made of the properties of various grades of billiards cloth and how it effects play, 860 vs 760 and comparisons of various brands.
Has anyone ever attemped to cover a table with cloth that was not specifically made for billiards? I wonder how cloth intended to be a bed sheet would do on a pool table? I wonder how cotton or polyester would play in comparison to wool?
Any thoughts?
