I'd like to congratulate little John Morra for finishing 3rd in the amateur open (no, not the junior). John is 15 years old and had won the 14&under last year and decided it was time to make things serious by playing in the amateur open. I guess his results speak for itself. John is playing very strong pool and I look forward to seeing him play in the other arena (the pro's arena that is). In my book he is the next Alex Pagulayan. But time will tell.

Tiffany won over Sarah Rousey.

I am in complete agreement with you on this one Thierry.

Watched John play in the Junior Nationals last year and was very impressed with not only his play, but also his composure at the table. Never seemed to let anything phase him. Just went about his business of winning the event.

Is Pam from De? or Michigan or did she move?

Thierry,
I'd say John certainly has a bright future in pool, watched him play a number of times, both last year and this year and the kid has great control of his emotions, and sound fundamentals, very solid & consistent player.

P.S. I'm the guy you met in Chumley's Bar when my buddy Phil and I joined Tiffany, Kim and yourself for a drink before you guys eat, pleasure meeting you.

Jim

Indeed, John's attitude at the table is a real example. He's always calm, never loses his temper (even when you would expect any pool player to) plays his game whatever the score is, in other words he's got everything to go a long way. I really wish him the best luck (of course he doesn't have a girlfriend yet so we don't know how his pool playing will react to this! lol).

It was a pleasure meeting you Jim.
