Just received this exquisite new wrapless 4 point cue from Bob Manzino. Bob's artistry shines in the uncommon but harmonious wood pairing and overall cue concept--not too plain nor too much decor. The cue is constructed from highly figured ropey African bubinga into figured Mexican cocobolo with 4 veneers: natural, purple, light blue and black. The ropey bubinga handle has lots of chatoyance which can be seen in the photos. There are dashed veneer deco rings at the joint and buttsleeve. Double diamond star inlay in each point with a paua shell center. Quadruple diamond star inlays in buttsleeve with center of paua shell. No ivory!
Bob is an ICCS (Kansas City 2008 and Sarasota 2010) award winning cuemaker who has a waiting time of 1-1/2 years for less elaborate cues to about 3 years for more intricate cue designs. Bob's craftsmanship is of the highest level. His cues play firm. It's only a matter of time before more people realize Bob builds superb player/ collectible level cues too and his build waiting time will expand.
