I've got one and like it. I've got a Chris Whitaker cue which has a more narrow butt, so the standard extensions with the foam opening wouldn't work for me.
It's not as quick of a transition of the one that has the foam hugger since you have to rotate it to tighten around the butt, but when needed, it comes in real handy.

I purchased one and didn't like it. I found the awkwardness of it's design and extra weight too distracting in my stroke. I don't mind using a bridge so I prefer using one to this. I did end up getting a predator extension that screws onto the butt and found it to be much more useful.
