Ezell Custom Cues?

Anyone know anything about Ezell custom Cues?

I saw a very nice FS Sneaky Pete today with an Ivory Joint. I have never heard of the cuemaker but the cue looked great.
 
It's been a while. However, if I am not mistaken this is Joe Ezell of Hattiesburg, MS. It has been years but the last cue I saw was nice.

I don't know much about his cues as I have not seen them, but Joe is a super nice guy.
 
It's been quite awhile, but I have seen one or two pass through Ebay. They seemed quite nice. The looked like they had great crafstmanship, fit, and finish. The two I saw were loaded with ivory and had good design. No idea anything else about him or the hit of his cues though. Good luck!
 
Joe is a personal friend of mine since high school. While the rest of us were trying to learn how to play, he was learning how to build cues. Joe apprenticed with Russ Espiritu before Russ went CNC and started mass producing cues then with Mike Johnson of Jensen cues. Joe knows how to build them the right way and his execution is incredible for a relatively unknown guy. The cues play great and have a strong local following in the southeast.
