F/S 2 Original Ray Schuler Cues

Midday bump. If you have never played with a Schuler you really are missing out.

<------------Thinking about a raffle.....;)

Please don't take this the wrong way. But since no one else said it I will.
Those are nice cues, I have had a number of them in the past and liked them very much.
But they don't sell for anywhere near the $1800.00 for both that you are asking. Not even close.
You may want to solicit some opinions on there current market value.
But for what its worth....
I would say For the plain jane with a ring $350.00 and The b/j cue $200-$300

Jayman.

If this is true and that is all these cues are worth then I really feel like a boob.

I know what my friend was selling them for at a local tourney. I may opt out and either send them to schuler but since the company itself is taking a dive or already has it is very hard to find cues that Ray made when he was around. I understand the thought of these cues being sold for less but those are the Schuler legacy cues.

I guess I am open to offers as I need to move these cues but please don't low ball them. Nothing I have ever shot with plays as nice as a schuler.

I'd have to agree with Jayman at this point. I have several Schulers and like you I think they play great.

At the same time, the gray-stain J/B cue was about 350 in the catalog and the other model is close to a SC-181, which went for about 525. This was before Ray died.

If they are in great condition, you might add a little to the above figures because Ray did make the cues, but I don't think you're going to get close to the 1800 figure for the set.

I thank you guys for the input, I was just going off what my friend said he wanted for them. Maybe I will just end them back to him. I am not here to rip anyone off, so please don't take it that way. I was just trying to help a friend out.

I am open to offers on this set and I will call him and see what he says. Just send me a pm.

Ok, I looked into the value of these cues a little bit and I was a lot closer than some, But my friend was off more. This info is straight from Schuler Cues.

Jump and Break cue. Great looking cue with gray stained bird's eye maple. Can be used as a regular cue, but the second joint separates at the top of the wrap to allow quick conversion for use on breaks and jump shots. About 8 years old, but never sold or used. Personally signed by the late Ray Schuler. $725.00

Old Schuler pool cue of bird's-eye maple in natural finish. Steel joint ring with black accent ring. Cocobolo afterwrap with trim ring of ebony and polished metal. Irish linen wrap. About 10 years old, but never sold or used. Personally signed by the late Ray Schuler. $595.00

I am going to move these cues to a raffle unless anyone is interested in these cues.

Thanks Greg
