F/S 5 Point Omega DPK Cue

This is an Omega DPK cue that is one of the prizes in my close friend's collection (who passed away in October) that I am selling for his wife. This is serious player's cue in very good condition in spite of it's age and is very collectible and hard to find. The butt has only minor surface finish dings from being played. I am asking $2000.00 OBO for this very pretty cue shipped and insured including joint caps. Here is the description for the cue:
Butt: Very nice cocobolo with typical Omega fancy multiple of 5 themed deco rings at the top and bottom of the butt sleeve and a black phenolic butt cap with the Omega flare. Deco rings line up perfectly with each other, the deco ring above the wrap, and the deco ring at the joint.
Forearm: Highly figured maple with 5 cocobolo points and deco ring matching the butt's rings between the wrap and points..
Joint: 3/8x14 stainless pin with black phenolic joint sleeve and matching deco ring.
Shaft 1: 12.95 mm, 3.74 ounces with ivory ferrule and matching deco ring.
Shaft 2: 12.80 mm, 3.68 ounces with ivory ferrule and layered tip and matching deco ring OmegaDPKFull1.jpg

One shaft rolls almost perfect, can't see any waver. The other shaft has a slight taper waver. One butt and apart are the same.
 
I think my buddy's wife would accept $1500.00 net cash. Buyer would need to pay shipping and Paypal fees. This too nice of cue to get away at that price.

I have actually been insulted by people who do not know what this cue is.
I am very disappointed to AZ at this point thinking I would be dealing with people who knew cues. This cue goes on eBay Monday where I have 100% feedback rating and have sold 10's of thousands of dollars worth of cues. The last Omega on eBay sold or $1750.00 and did not even have the flare on the butt cap. I am sorry the AZ community is letting this one get away.

Ironically you state you've sold tens of thousands of cues, however you are just recently registered as a member here as of 01/2012


If you've sold so many , thousands of cues, then why is it you've never belonged to azb before?
Maybe, this is why people are skeptical of buying from you, maybe the market is just soft.
Did you use to sell here and maybe got booted from here?

Homer read slower, he said he sold tens of thousands WORTH of cues. He didn't say here on AZ.

You should not be insulted by someone if they don't know what kind of cue it is. But I am sure the "AZ FAMILY" here knows what kind of cue you have for sale. It is a great cue but just a really soft market right now. So if you can't understand that, and so disappointed at "us" then go back to ebay and keep selling there. You are not off to a good start here on joining our "AZ FAMILY" with your comments though.

Good luck on whatever you decide on doing with the cue. Omega's are great cues.
