Another Price Drop. See below. Somebody should be hitting balls with this quality player.

I’m downsizing my cue and cue case collection, so up for sale today is a real nice 6-point cue from Bob Frey with two shafts… the original Frey shaft and a Predator Z2 with matching double silver beauty rings. The cue and shafts are in “very good ++” condition.

The cue features a Dark Rosewood forearm (so dark it’s been confused with Ebony) with 6 long Birdseye maple points and matching Dark Rosewood butt sleeve. The wrap is smooth kangaroo skin by Cory Barnhart.

I bought this cue from Bamacues (Joe) in 2008 after Cory refinished the cue. Subsequently, I added a 30" Z2 shaft with matching black phenolic collar and double silver beauty rings. Being 6'3", I favor a longer cue. My local Seattle area cuemaker, Dave Jones, modified a Z2 blank to match the butt.

With both shafts, I’m asking $1475 $1150 plus shipping within CONUS. Without the Z2 shaft, I'm now asking for $1000 plus shipping.

PM me if interested or you have questions.

This is the original For Sale thread by Bamacues in 2008 with comments… FS: 6 point Bob Frey | AzBilliards Forums

And for those who may be interested in this cue but either don't want or need the Z2 shaft, I will sell the Frey cue separately for $1200 $1000 plus shipping within CONUS.

Bump for a great playing cue made by Bob Frey... a well-known disciple of Tim Scruggs.

Here's a couple of quotes endorsing the playability of this cue from well-known AZB members...

from seller Bamacues... "Thanks for the kind words, folks. I can assure you that this cue plays just like all of Bob's other cues...great. It really looks much, much nicer in person than the pix can show, and I love the feel of the kangaroo wrap. Joe

from Nick Serdula... "Hey Joe, the cue forearm is rosewood. It is one sweet playing cue. Nick :)

from seller Bamacues... "OK...wow!! Some really dark rosewood. Rosewood or ebony, either way, it is a sweet, sweet cue, and a great player, like Nick said. Joe

from Kevin Lindstrom... "I can almost guarantee you will love this cue. I know I really like mine. I will never sell mine. Kevin

FYI, if interested, you can find these quotes in the linked F/S thread in my original post above.

Another price reduction... asking $1150 plus shipping for the cue with both shafts... asking $1000 plus shipping for the cue without the Z2 shaft.

Somebody should be hitting balls with this quality cue built by Bob Frey.

Let's bump this back up and see if it sells at $1150 with both shafts, or $1000 with the original Frey shaft only.

All above posts have been edited with the latest price reduction.
