This router mount is for a Porter Cable router on a Taig based crossslide.

Thanks to your feedback I have made a couple of design changes to make the Router Mount more versatile. It will now easily mount sideways for hoizintal mounting( see photo ).

The New price is $34.00 + S&H (USPS First Class Mail $3.50, Priority Mail $5.45)

Thanks , I got mine and works great. Both ways. Thanks Jim

I got one of the originals and couldn't be happier. The new mod will only make this mount nicer. Good job.

i see that there is hieght adjustment in the vertical
what about in the horizontal?

There is no vertical adjustment to the Horizontal mount. There is of course cross-slide movement for horizontal adjustment to the horizontal mount and as you mentioned there is veritcal adjustment to the vertical mount, but there is no horizontal adjustment to the vertical mount except for the cross-slide movement which gives hoizontal adjustment to the vertical mount as well as the horizontal mount. But "Who's on first"??

i meant for use on another lathe, on a NON TAIG based cross slide, where i would need adjustment up and down to locate the router on center .
i thought who was on second

I know what you were asking ( just my attempt at a little humor... very little). I don't have any adj. there but it probably wouldn't be difficult to set up for a different height center."I don't know" is on third.

I still have a few available for immediate shipping. Thanks a Million!! Todd

I don't have access to a Porper B. But If I had the exact measurements of the cross-slide and could see how the tool post attaches and center height of the lathe I am sure I could come up with something. send me a PM if you have questions. Thanks a Million!! Todd

I have been receiving a lot of questions about this so I am bumping up. I will have some available for shipping by this Tues or Wed. (20th or 21st). Thanks a Million!!

easy to make for porper

To make one for a porper model b would be real easy. All you need is a piece of flat stock. i can't make one now, just had back surgery, but i have made them in the past. Althoough, I only made the horizontal mount. Deckman showed how to make the first one, which was for a southbend, same one worked on my proper modelb. Real simple.

Just a bump. I finally have some ready to ship. Thanks a Million!! Todd
