F/S Custom southwest style cue from Dan Westin! F/S

Who is Dan Westin

I have a fairly decent knowledge of cue makers. Like everyone I know what is popular, coveted, and horded.
Being unfamiliar with Dan Westin I have done a Google search and can find NOTHING on Dan Westin.

So, pardon my lack of knowledge but just who is Dan Westin and what is his pedigree/background in making pool cues?

Dan Westin

Dan is a cue maker from Florida. He was located in Tampa but recently moved to up state New York. He started making cues after years of working with Wayne Ball and from what he tells me Rico. I personally had only met him a few times then I saw him out in Vegas and he had me shoot with one of his cues. It hit great! And at the time I was dying for a southwest but didn't want to shell out the 2k+ for one. so it seemed like a good option. It hits very simular to a southwest. According to Dan his cues are built to the same level of quality and detail. He even usually uses a 3/8x11 pin I just had him put a 3/8x8 Radial because that is the pin I prefer. I have owned alot of custom cues in my life and played with even more and I can honestly say this cue is in my top 5 best hitting cues. The only reason I am selling is because a really good friend of mine is selling me a full Layani set up for $750 and I can't pass that up. So I have to sell this cue in order to get the funds together. Whoever ends up with this cue will not be dissapointed.
 
Weights

The butt is 15.2 oz and one shaft is 3.6 and the other is 3.7. with the shaft that I have been playing with the cue weighs 18.8 and with the unused shaft its 18.9. I do have three weight bolts so the butt weight can be adjusted to 15.8, 16.3 and 17.1.
 
Market

Whats going on with the cue market these days, I remember a few years back when I sold of my collection 32 cues sold in one week. Now I am having trouble selling one. I know it can't be the price where else are you going to get a custom cue with 2 shafts in perfect condition for 500 bucks shipped to your door?
