Sorry sir, but you did NOT deliver the cue. You only shipped it. Delivery means that your buyer received it. This apparently is not yet the case. Unless agreed to otherwise, the seller is responsible for ensuring that the cue arrives in the hands of the buyer, and you as seller have the responsibility for insuring it so that you recover your cost if it is lost, not the other way around. If the buyer requested that you not insure it, I would require payment, and he would be out if it is not delivered in hand, but that agreement would be accepted before hand in writing, not alleged after the fact.

Just a thought for future shipment. What if you insure it, and it is confiscated by customs. Will insurance cover the loss? Just curious. Seems hard to believe that insurance would cover potential illegality, not that it was done in this case.

Thanks!
Please try to read from the 1st page. What you mentioned above wsa not this case.
I will refund him once the lost of parcel was confirmed. <--repeat for many times
So from your point of view, if the cue was confiscated by customs, then it will be the problem for seller because he doesnt deliver the cue to the buyer?
By the way, i dont think the insurance would cover the lost for confiscation.
Thanks for your curious!

Everybody calm down. Jor is not a bad guy and nethier am I. I charged back because I was under a time constraint to do so. Lets just wait and see what happens next with the Polish post office investigation and we'll go from there. OK?

Before that, how about the customs?

That's probably why drug dealers in the US only take cash$$ :) .... Because their customers could have just filed a chargeback if they got busted :D :D

But seriously, it is not very wise to use credit cards on illegal ivory trade. The buyer is a cue dealer in the US and should aware the risks of buying ivory inlaid cues overseas. Not only the cues will be confiscated but the buyer can be fined and imprisoned. The credit card transaction can just be used as an evidence of the illegal trade.

Pls be calm down nomatter what's happened !!

This is the worst situation that I don't want to see.:(

Hope that have a good result that I expect.:)

You guys shouldn't have insured the cue. The value declared will get noticed by the custom.

Sorry to hear about all this, I hope there's gona be a "Hollywood Ending". as far as I know both parties are ligit, just the damn custom issue, I used to ship a Mcworter loaded with ivory and was lucky not being confistigated by US custom, items that declared at such high value sure will draw the attention from custom, that's really a delima...

Its wierd that since the cue is built in states, how come it just can't be sent back for a ligit reason such as for repairment or identification:(

Good News!

I got a sorry we missed you card in my mail box. I'm not sure if it is the cue but it must be because I'm not expecting anything else. Let's all keep our fingers crossed. I will be on the post office doorstep Monday AM. If it is indeed the cue I will of course cancel the chargeback and we'll have a very happy ending for all parties.

Cue has arrived safe and sound. Chargeback has been reversed. I'm sure glad this is over. I will never put myself through this again. Thanks Jor for a great cue.

Glad to hear that everything has worked out except timeliness. Glad to hear that the insurance issues with this were not required either. Hope both sides are happy.

IMO just not worth it no matter what the cue is and Jor was professional to deal with and very responsive so imagine if you had someone who wasn't cooperative on the other end.

Glad to here this worked out for you guys. Most of the time, overseas transactions/shipments will go off without a hitch, but in these rare occasions when something like this does happens, it sure can be frustrating.

Glad this worked out for everyone and now everyone deserves a note on a perfect transaction.
Everyone except the shipping company!
How about current pictures of the cue?

Thanks,
Myron

Both of you are great !!

It's undoubtful that lenoxmjs have great comments in Az. Maybe many Azer's set the negitive stand for Jor cause he posted few articles at Az and seems few people know him.
Jor is my best friend who is also a doctor. It's my responsibilty to clear the fact that Jor is a honest man with integrity and give my words to promise which I posted before.
It's great to see a happy ending although the deal process has some defects. They are honest man that illustrated this event after this deal.I just want to tell everybody that both lenoxmjs and Jor are people we can trust.

Hope I can have some business with lenoxmjs in future.:)
