f/s Jacoby Edge Hybrid shaft

I want to sell my Jacoby Edge Hybrid shaft. Its 5/16-14 piloted, with a black collar and will fit schon, runde, and probably most others with that pin. I bought it from Dave Jacoby at the dcc this past weekend and just now finally got to shot with it. It hits stiffer than I like. The shaft is 12.75 and has a Kamui black s/s tip. I have played the shaft for sell than an hour so its brand new. I paid 200.00 for the shaft and 45.00 to have the tip put on so If I could get 200 shipped conus, I would be more than happy. I would also consider trading it for a predator 314-2 if anyone is interested.

I though we had a deal???

Paypal has been sent, I got nothing from you saying you sold it to someone else. When should I be expecting my refund? I would have liked to have been told so I could have not sent the payment. :(
 
I tried to contact you several times friday without any luck. You didnt say when you were going to pay me, just that you wanted the shaft and nothing more. without communications there are no deals. My I trader speaks for my deals on here.
 
thats all there was though, I want the shaft. No medtion of payment or where to send the shaft. NO COMMUNICATIONS. thats why I sold to someone else. the first one with cash wins on here.

You are right, it took me longer to pay than I normally would have, and explained that in the text. I am am not mad, you did the right thing and refunded the money right away.

To say that it was just an offer is absolutely, false. Not only was the deal negotaited to the amount, paypal name given, and you requested to have it done by paypal. You had my address as well/

The first email was Sat night at 11:59pm according to AZ and the last one sent was at 1:13am. I went to bed, and woke up late a pool tournament. Tried to do it from the tournament and forgot. Paid the next day.

I have the emails man, to say you contacted me a bunch on Friday. Look at your instant messages, they were all sent on Saturday/Sunday. You gave me less than 12 hours before you resold the shaft, with out any communication other than you asking me for it to be paid as a gift, so you would make more money.

So in conclusion, you talked to me on FRI (false - No IM until Saturday night at 11:59pm, and conversation ended hours later on Sunday early AM. Payment terms were negotiated and accepted, paypal name given and you asked for pmt via gift. You got my address that day as well.


YOU ARE OUTRIGHT LYING on the last post, and I have the Instant Messages to prove it. You sir, are lying, and using our Itrader rating as a BELIEVE ME, I have Itrader is rediculous.

I am more than happy to post them on here, so they can see the truth, everything you stated is absolutely False.

I have the instant messages on here, and I also have an iTrader, but to paint it like I was kicking tires is factually inaccurate.

Oh that and the fact that you lied multiple times in this thread. Hopefully people know that what they read from you is not always the truth by any means. I would not have even posted again in this thread if you didn't lie so much to make me look like I was making the deal up.

You absolutely did the right thing when you could have just told me to pound sand, because of the paypal being a gift. Thank you for that. Like I had said, I was going to drop it, and then read this thread again this morning. I needed to clarify that what you said wasn't true and we both know it.

I disagree about saying it privately when reputation is on the line. In a forum like this reputation is everything people can go off of. When im doing deals many times I look up past deals of person im dealing with. If I see someone lied its going to change how I deal with the transaction. If someone stated in a open thread something that brought my reputation into question id clear it openly as well.

I meant no disrespect to the prospective buyer. His opening statement in the post in which I quoted, however, clearly said that he wasn't mad, and that the seller "did the right thing" by refunding his money. Hence, if he said what he meant, and meant what he said, why does he follow this sentiment with a full page worth of complaints, accusations, and unnecessary details?

I'm led to feel some empathy for the prospective buyer, as the seller should have allowed a little more time for the payment, if all the details he elaborated upon are factual, as they very well may be. If it were me, I wouldn't let a $150.00 shaft break my heart. It's just not worth the aggravation, as was demonstrated at length in two of the prospective buyer's posts; all of which serve as a radical departure from his opening statement.

If someone lost money by means of deception, then by all means, the correspondence between two parties has its place in a public forum such as this one. But that wasn't the case here, and I've yet to read rules of etiquette stating exactly how and when a transaction becomes irrevocably binding. To my knowledge, this is worked out between the buyer and seller.

This isn't the first thread I've seen where a prospective buyer lamented publicly against the seller, claiming that an item was sold out from under their feet. Maybe the moderators of this forum will eventually address such situations? Perhaps it has already been discussed, yet I've yet to come across any pertinent and related threads.
