Here is a rare McDaniel "Lazy S" in desirable ebony nose. Cue has points and butt of amboyna burl sapwood. Cue is 58 inch. Both shafts have bluing and come in at 12.9mm and 12.7mm respectively, both at 3.8 to 3.5 oz. Butt comes in at 15.3. One shaft has very slight taper roll and the other is dead straight. Joint is 5/16x14. All white ivory. Ivory inlays everywhere, awesome inlayed cue. Ivory ferrules, too!! Pics are from Grassley's site, as I purchased it from him. Cue is in same condition as pics. I can take my own if requested. Butt is in pristine condition as pics show.

I just went and measured the cue again, it is a dead 58 inch cue.
29 w/ both shafts and 29 w/ the butt!!!! Bump for a monster McDaniel cue!!!

Absolutely beautiful cue. I think Bill Mcdaniels is one of the most underrated cuemakers ever. His cues play incredibly.

Custom cue

What a beautiful cue. I have 2 with the same design but one with snakewood and the other just ebony and ivory and they are great players. Got three new cues coming in this week or i would be all over this beauty. Goodluck with sale
 
Just cant stop looking at this cue. I think i have opened this thread more than 50 times, this is an incredibly beautiful cue.
Everytime i open this thread i start calculating if i can arrange to buy this cue. Money is too tight unfortunately.

I think McDaniel was one of the most underrated makers of our time. That is a beautiful cue and I almost bought it from Grassley for my MD collection. Good luck with your sale.
