Good deal here!

There was a league player in my area that used to play with a Lancaster. It was the only one is had ever seen and to be honest at that time I had never heard of him. I had a chance to play with it a few times and it played very well. Also, the construction seemed very good IIRC.

GLWS!

I am new to the Fourm and wanted to know a little bit more about the cue. Cay you provide some details such as weight displacement and how would you rate the cue over all. Any imperfections like dints and dings.

Stephan

Cue is in very good shape with no dents, dings or scrathes. I will add specs later tonight.

Mike was a repair man turned cue maker that worked out of Mother's Billiards in North Carolina. I would guess he is still living but can't say for certain as I don't know much about the man. I do know the Ewe Mataya uses one of his cues. I used to own another one that was very nice as well. I sold that cue a few years back.

Mike no longer makes cues,he quit about 10 yrs.
ago.I purchased most of his cue making equipment.

I, as well, have never heard of him, but that particular cue is stunning! I love the veneer colors, and those two shafts look absolutely amazing. That is a very fetching cue. I love seeing customs I knew nothing about.

FWIW - I owned a Lancaster cue years ago. I got it from Hunter, here on AZB.

The cue was a fantastic player. Great pointwork, and very solid. I was incredibly impressed with the overall quality of his work. "Unknown" cuemaker or not...Mr. Lancaster made one hell of a great cue. Especially for the low cost to get one these days.

Kevin - your's looks even better than my old one did. Very sharp cue, sir.

Take care.

What's the weight and shaft diameters? 58in? You can call me #301-351-5178 I might be interested in this cue.****************************???????????

Would you say the hit is closer to a "Soft" hit or a "stiff" hit?
