Weekend bump. No interest, where are all the Samsara people????

Sorry but your cue is not worth that kind of money,,,,,,,,,maybe if it was a Southwest. :) ;) :p

First of all why are you knocking this guys post?

Secondly, a Southwest 6 pointer under $1800 is unheard of! This Samsara is priced very fair and any buyer interested in a Samsara cue is getting a good deal - compare by getting a quote from Jim!

I see no reason why people have to comment about price asked! Send a PM to the seller if you are interested. This nonsense has to stop!

Regards,

knocking a guys deal?

QUOTE=skeeterpro]I'm sorry boys and girls Southwest cues made after 1996 are not WORTH that kind of money. The only reason the cues sell for what they do is some idiots paid that much once or twice in the past and the market soared. SW then got the idea that all their cues were worth that kind of money. And 9 years waiting list for the simplicity of their cues....come on.[/QUOTE]

wyld78 is refering to the southwest for trade thread that skeeterpro jumped in and knocked, here is the quote.

ok ----

if that is the case wyld78, I appoligize. I just don't understand why people aere throwing negative comments around cues 4 sale and the prices when they have no intent on buying!!!!

Buy or not buy I think the comment is relative to preceived value. I am also taken back by the prices of some of the cues for sale.

Because

some people value honesty over manners, or vica versa.

I have seen people on here offering cues for 2-4x their worth, or
to be selling an ugly cue for big bucks, and some people just can't
take it. This is not E-bay, this is a forum.

Personally, I think most Southwests, especially plain ones, are overpriced. but that is just me, and I wouldn't wait 9 years for ANY cue.

i cant knock this cue, Laurie is a great friend and has been for 20 years so I cant knock SW cues,

Samsara cues have came along way in the past few years, I own one and have used it a fw times-I'm having a bit of work done on it, when I get it back it wont be my main cue but it will get played with, as far as the price I saw their booth at the BCA trade show and know the wholesale on this cue-the price isnt out of line, its full pop but not a stick-up, its a fair ask price with probably a little room, whats wrong with that?

overpriced?

many cues are priced much higher than a southwest, tank138 had a bar cue that dennis searing cut in half and put a joint in it for $2000:eek: ,that is way out of line for what started out as a $20 house cue!i don't see why people knock southwest for charging what they do,a plain cue from them is about $700,even on the aftermarket a plain cue is about $1500-$1800,still along way from $2000 for a cheaper cue.

southwest was making cues while dennis was trying to make it as a roadplayer, they have been making cues for about 35yrs, longer than joe gold, crisp, hercheck and many others but there prices have reamained consistant,i received a six point cue from them in 1993 for $600,my next one came in 2003 for $700,price only went up $100 in 10yrs.:)

i paid $350 for a 60" 6pt cue in 86 from SW,

all things in life are worth what someone will pay for them, knocking someones asking price just isnt cool.

this is a public forum,it is not unheard of to get a 6 point SW for under $1800,SW after '96 doesn't hit or play any different than a SW before '96,Jerry only finished cues from '93-'96 anyway and they are still made the same way.they are high quality cues that is why they bring the big bucks.yes there are many people here who ask crazy prices for their cues.they don't sell.i like this cue for sale, but really don't know the value os Samsara's so i can't comment.i know making all of those production jump/breaks probably did not help their resale value though.

Buuuuuump.....come on folks great cue at a discounted price. Cue is already listed below the Samsara advertised price. Look at their site and you'll see what I mean.
