F/S New Samsara Six Point Cue

That is a beautiful cue! And w/two Predator shafts it seems to me that the price is in the ballpark. The Samsara's I've hit have played very well. Last I knew Scott Lee was using their stuff.

Price reduced to $1400 shipped. I can't go any lower as I have $400 in the shafts alone. Cue sells for $1675 on the Samsara web site w/o the Predator shafts.

I have owned a Samsara a cue with a matching predator shaft for a while now, these are great cues and play as good as any other cue out there. I let a lot of players hit it and all of them were very impressed, infact one player ordered a brand new one from Samsara because of how much he liked my cue, I had offers from one of the top players in the Tacoma WA area to buy it, he used to play with a Southwest and is very picky, I couldnt sell it at the time and probably never will. As far as there reputation goes, says right in the blue book, considered "The Best Woodworkers in the Industry”. So if they are not valued high now they will be in the future. IMOP these cues are fairly priced and great playing, with the matching predator shafts this is one heck of a deal, wish I could afford another, good luck, Nate.

One more time through and that's all she wrote!! This is a great cue at a very good price. I've had many cues over the past 30 years from the best cue makers in the United States. This cue plays as good as any of them and the workmanship is second to none.

many cues are priced much higher than a southwest, tank138 had a bar cue that dennis searing cut in half and put a joint in it for $2000:eek: ,that is way out of line for what started out as a $20 house cue!i don't see why people knock southwest for charging what they do,a plain cue from them is about $700,even on the aftermarket a plain cue is about $1500-$1800,still along way from $2000 for a cheaper cue.

Boy ain't that the truth. A sneaky pete priced at $2k....are you kidding me? I know that Dennis Searing is supposed to be a good cue maker but how much is hype for Christs sake. I've played and collected cues for over the last 20 years and I get to the point where I can't tell one from another (and I've held in my hand just about every cuemaker you could suggest). I'd pay about $200 max for it (notice I left off some 0's).

I've heard various cuemakers come and go in popularity including, but not limited to: Gilbert, Zylr, Weston, etc... They all make decent cues, but you don't hear the hype about them that you used to. In my opinion it takes just a few people to spread some sort of mythology about a few selected makes and POW...you get unheard of prices. We are dealing with maple shaft wood connected to a butt folks. You might like one taper over another, but as long as the glue and connections are solid...viola!....you have a decent hitting cue.

Now before someone suggests I'm crapping on this guys post, I think this particular cue, with the amount of workmanship that has been put into it, is not overpriced.

I don't know enough to have a meaningfull opinion about prices in general but this cue is really beautiful, in my minds eye, and I wish I cut justify going to paypal and putting this puppy on my MC. But... I'm paying my 06 taxes today and I didn't plan well :o   :(

Samara cues are really beautiful and this rivals any cue I've seen. Love it!!

I read this post and for everyone saying how great samsara cues is and you have a samsara cue and how all of you have the predator shafts on the samsara cues makes me laught and you know why becuase all of you have to have predator shafts on his cues , my question is why then would you say hes a great cue maker but all of you have to pick a predator shaft over his shafts, whats the point of having a samsara cue if you don't have his shafts on the cue ,I myself would prefer to have a cuemakers shafts with the cue and maybe and I mean maybe have a
2nd predator shaft to go along with the cue but not to have a cuemakers own combo then maybe you should of just bought yourselfs a predator cue, this isn't just my opion on not having a cuemakers shafts I read it in other post and to me its true when you buy a custom cue you should have the shaft that the maker sells for it,thats the point of a custom cue and it's intended hit and playability to have the makers combo

For your information Steven, Samsara is one of several independent contractors of Predator Products. If you don't know what you're talking about please don't give us your opinions. Also for those people who question the use of Predator shafts, take a look at all the pro players using them. I'm not only talking about the players sponsored by them either. There are numerous pro players using Predator shafts on some of the best cues made. The reason for this is simple, it makes applying extreme right or left english easier and more accurate.
