F/S: Nitti, Falcon J/B, and Whitten Case

I feel for you man. Certainly I am glad that CincyMan pulled the trigger on this before I did because I would be very sad if it happened to me. I can understand in a warped way what you did once you realized how bad you priced your EQ. I have lost some bad deals on eBay beccause I would either set no reserve or a low opening bid and that would end up being the selling price "ouch". As much as I hated it, I still will not back out of a deal once both sides agreed on a price. REP is too hard to recover. To stay on the trusted side sometimes it is worth it to take a small loss especially when you set the asking price. Just my .02

On top of all of the comments noted above, I find it hard to believe that you wouldn't know that the value was seriously underpriced considering you have been a member her for 2 years. I know you don't have to "live" on the site, but you had to have some idea that a Nitti was pretty much worth your asking price on a bad day, that a Whitten is not a cheap case, and a Falcon J/B was not a $20 cue.

At the end of the day, you are only as good as your word. That day ended poorly for you my friend.
 
Maybe it was the 49 people who said "wow" or "is this real" thats why i keep my mouth shut and yes i was leary but for 400 i would have taken a shot and i hope i meet ROB one day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! I just read robmare's 31 posts and can't figure where all the greenies came from. Noticed in his first post he had a former user name - so has been a member for considerable time. And I can't figure how he has weathered this renig with all his greenies intact. Goes to show how flawed the ratings are since, apparently, everyone is chicken to red rep, except when they are part of a group.

I gave red rep but it was not given lightly. I may be new here but not new to the etiquette of buying and selling and understanding the holy grail of no no's. It is what it is and we get what we earn.
