The way things are going, I don't think you need to worry about selling here .. I certainly wouldn't buy from you.

I know two other people, whom I respect, who've had issues with you. I'm seeking their permission to disclose the issues.

You must be mistaken.... I have not had any problems on here with anyone else that I have sold to.................... I'm calling you out!!! Please bring these two people in to the light. I repeat. Nobody else on here that I have sold to has had any problems with me!!!!!!!!! And like I said, It's a total joke that I can sell 30 cues, Everyone has been more then happy, But once I have one problem it's the end of the world. Bring these two mystery guests in to the light!!!!! I have not had any problems before now with selling!!!!!

I just received this in a PM and I will not disclose who sent it!!

I read a little of that thread, got too long and I lost interest. It's pretty overblown for a half a millimeter, which is the width of a fine leaded pencil. And it's from a guy who sells multi-thousand dollar cues.

The wheeler-dealers got a lot of pull and blind faith from the forum regulars. It's a weird situation for sure. I'm sure ol' Joe won't starve because he can't "use" these shafts.

I'm not talking about people you sold to but people who sold stuff to you and how you dealt with them.

It's about your integrity as a person .. I hope they will give me permission to disclose the story.

By the way, Your saying two people that have sold to me. I don't recall ever buying anything but a cue recently and that only makes one. So where do you get two? And if your speaking of the one cue I just bought recently on here what do you have to say about it? Let's hear it!!! Your so full of it!!!! You just have too much time on your hands with nothing else to do..

Please do disclose who sent you this PM, you'll be doing us all a favor because anyone who agrees with you on this one is ****ing trouble.

I know you're young, that's what I've been telling people but your reluctance to see reason is far beyond an issue of simple immaturity. If you can't see that you're only hurting yourself here, the world will teach you many, many hard lessons in the future.

If I were the seller, I would do whatever it took in order to make things right with the buyer. Even if I didn't agree with it. Even if I thought I was being ripped. Even if I didn't have the money.

I would write a hot check or whatever it took to get the money back to the buyer. I would deal with the hot check later. All of my future transactions depend on how I handle this trasaction as a seller.

The buyer should be out nothing. Period.

I tried to give you some good rep points for this post but they said I had to spread good reps around ?? Your post hits the old nail on the head!:)

Joe,

This is a total joke. You have your buddies bad mouthing me and it's ok but when one person says something good about me you tell them to not get involved? Listen to yourself. Total joke....

You know, this is you. Right here. These aren't my buddies, these are people that unlike you, know right from wrong.

We are only talking about $75 here. What do you mean send him a high dollar cue? And Joe says send him some serious collateral, Serious collat for a whole $75? You have got to be joking...

No you don't get it. You're getting the shafts back so YOU can sell them. Why the hell should I have to be your salesman? These are your shafts, period. The collateral is for 300, not for 75.00

It's considered bad form to post any sort of pm or e-mail, with or without names, on a forum.

Just a quick comment on this post. Who ever wrote this has very little integrity and a total lack of cue knowledge. A Half a millimeter is a huge deal. Think of a Southwest cue or any other High end cue skinny shafts translate into no buyers 12.8 mm vs 12.3mm. I also don't like the authors tone when he say's old Joe won't starve. I know that he won't but thats not really the point. Just because someone has a few more bucks than the next guy doesn't make it ok to rip them off or jerk them around. It's very sad that you have chosen to handle it this way as you have had some cues that have peaked my interest. I fear that over the sum of $75-$100 dollars you have done yourself in. I would go and look for my friend and beat the crap out of him because not only does he owe you the $300 He owes you for all your lost revenue on future sales. Definately worth a few missing teeth IMO.

The one and only one correct thing for you to do is send Joe $300. plus the shipping he paid to get the shafts and enough to cover the shipping back to you. He should not have to sell the shafts. If he finds a buyer and things don't work out, he can be out even more.

Don't take this as me piling on because I don't do that... but you seem to think everyone here is being unreasonable because they don't agree with your solution to this thing. It's because your solution is DEAD WRONG! Good luck to you in the future...because I think you will need it if you ever list things again on this forum for sale. JMO.

I just read this thread .. wasn't interested in buying mottey shafts but was curious why there were so many posts on the thread.

I'm just shaking my head in disbelief after reading this ... unbelievable.

whats really unbelievable is that he thinks his solution is reasonable.

I have a solution for Nine Ball:
Mow some lawns. In one week you should have the difference!

That's a great idea, but unfortunately won't happen....because instead of resolving the issue and putting a plan in place to come up with the money quickly (the correct resolution in this case) and then action, Josh chooses to continue this saga (oh, woe is me) and not accept any responsibility.

In the time this has been going he could have immediately sent Joe what he could (if the lack of funds is indeed the case) and outlied specific timeframes to Joe privately for the balance to come. Have known Joe a long time, and he is a very reasonable person.....but after all this public BS, I doubt I would be able to be "reasonable" at this point either. Instead, he seems to think that it's Joe's responsibility to sell the shafts and coordinate/fascilitate everything. I'm sorry, but that should be on him. Plus, now, he's introduced things into this thread to try to take shots at Joe's credibility.

Josh's whole approach in this is just so damn unbelievable I don't know what to say anymore.

As many have mentioned before, age should not be an issue here, but it's truly sad if our youth today truly think this way.....

And Josh, thanks for my negative rep for pointing out you are WRONG.....it's been rewarded 5-fold on the plus-side so far.

It's funny when you think about it that .5mm on the tip size can affect the saleability (is that a word?) of a shaft that much.

But we ALL know that and anyone with any pool experience knows that. So when selling a shaft, the seller, if he had any understanding that .5mm can make such a difference, would take extra ordinary steps to make sure that the size of the tip was "exactly" what was stated.

"whoops", sorry I was off a little" just doesn't cut it when it comes to tip size.
