F/S PFD 4 PT Hoppe w Predator Shaft

Serious Players Cue here Folks!

BTT Willing to hear some reasonable offers for this fine Cue. Its just like new w recent refinish!

For sale is a as new/ just refinished PFD/ Paul Drexler Hoppe Custom Cue. This cue is an amazing player & Classy to boot, 4 razor sharp Birds Eye Maple points w 3 veneers Blue, Natural, Blue from outside in or visa versa into Gaboon Ebony, solid Ivory uniloc joint, unmarked matching 314 Predator shaft w a Ivory ferrule has a new layered Ultra Skin soft tip. This combination makes for a fantastic hit, firm but not stiff moves the ball w little effort & lazer point accuracy. New textured real leather wrap feels perfect in hand, Ebony butt sleeve w Ivory Hoppe ring, it is 59" long 29 1/2" split. There is a minor smudge in the PFD 01 logo that wouldn't come out during the refinish, the cue builder that does my work for me said he was reluctant to try to get it out anymore than he did in fear that we would lose the logo in the process, you can see this in the pics & I mention it because its there & its the only minor flaw on this cue. The butt weighs 15.4 oz & comes w a weight bolt kit to adjust to 3 different weights small is .45 oz, med is .75 oz & large is 1.20 oz I had the butt cored & taped for this weight system because it was too heavy for my liking originally a little over 20 oz "Ebony" The Predator shaft weighs 4.0 oz & was matched to the butt by Paul when it was made so its a perfect fit! The cue does have the slightest of roll when together, less than a credit card. I attribute this to the new leather wrap, if I didn't mention it you would probobly never even notice it but I don't do business that way! So thats pretty much it I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking! Asking $950 shipped, no lowball offers please! Attaching Photo Bucket link for additional pic's. Thanks for looking.

What is the dark line between the ferrule and wood? It's rather unclear from the photos.

Thanks,
Chris

Good question Chris. I suspect that perhaps the shaft may not be the one that was originally delivered with the cue - or the ferrule was changed/replaced. Typically I make all my ferrules one (1) inch - and judging by the Ivory joint, which I am certain is one (1) inch, the ferrule is shorter. I also use a glue that dries clear on all my ferrules - so there should not be a glue line . . . however, all of this can easily be fixed and with the price being asked for the cue that cost should be no object. pfd

Thank you for your input Mr. Drexler I have made a price adjustment of $150 to compensate for this cosmetic flaw. I'm sure that you would be willing to resolve this issue for the new owner if they so desired.
