Hi,Last fall Billy Teeter, Bay area cue maker, built me a butt from a 40+ year old Brunswick purple heart house cue, that he had for decades, from his old poolroom and three bars in the Bay area. I then had Tom Migliore on the east coast build me a kielwood shaft to match the purple heart butt. The results were nothing less than a "perfect" hitting cue with an 18.5 " balance point. Great playability!
For those who don't know Tom Migliore (T & F Lathe Works) Tom is a master machinist who supplies 75-80% of cue makers in the country with mandrels for their lathes, pins and joints as well as other hard parts, joint protectors, carbon cue extensions that all of the billiard supply and online stores sell. He also makes a small select amount of cues under the name "TNS" each year.
The reason I'm selling is because I just can't play with the traditional pro taper whether it be carbon fiber, maple or kielwood. Trust me I've spent the money and tried. So I bought back my old Diveney Cocobolo Kielwood w/short conical taper cue. I'll let the pics speak for themselves. Sell for $895 Shipped/Insured CONUS, PayPal. A.P. Steve
