It’s easier to get into Harvard than it is to join the pool groups if you’re new to Facebook.

Is there a better way?

Many groups have automated admin assist rules. And some have manual post approval where they don't approve posts that meet their criteria. Some groups may even be strict if you're selling cues or just posting low value dribble.

Not sure there is a better way to join. I recommend patience because the groups can be a valuable resource.

I sold an expensive cue there just by posting pics of it. Multiple folks contacted me stating they were interested if I ever chose to sell it.

Later after negotiating with several “qualified “ people I struck a deal which went perfectly from beginning to end. I had tried to sell that cue locally with nothing but low ball offers.

I should have added that the group I sold that cue in was a group devoted to one specific cue maker. It was not a big buy and sell group.

IMO the groups are what you make of them!

It's likely that the buy/sell groups are going to be more strict than others, to limit the shenanigans that can happen, scams, etc...

I know some have strict standards like counting all the points on a cue and all other details they specify as required.
