He has two LOA's from some very highly qualified cue makers/collectors. Balabuska seldom actually entirely made a cue. He used forearms from Burton Spain, Gus Szamboti and other master cue makers from the time period. He then assembled the cue in his fashion and its this work that makes it identifiable as a Balabuska. Listen to the qualified people who wrote the LOA's.
 
I don't believe anyone is doubting the reputation of the authenticators. Instead, I believe folks are suspicious of the add (scam). I don't recall ever seeing a bushka window cue. Plus, those veneers look to be the famous "Gus green" he often used.
