Or how would I measure to find out?
Google didn't work, the Falcon sight didn't have any info, the online pool shops doesn't have info or parts for Falcon.
I do know that Falcon has worked with Joss and Predator, but those makes have different weights. I've dug around, really I've tried...

I am not sure they are all the same so it may depend on how old your cue is.
Did you try contacting a Falcon dealer? That would be the number one option IMHO. Falcon seems to be only operating through dealers...but it wouldn't hurt to try to contact them directly.
It looks like their US distributor is J&J.
How about posting a pic of the current weight bolt if it has one?

Well that's the issue. I picked it up used, took it home and cleaned it up, burnished the shaft, scuffed and perforated the tip and hit the pool hall.
I broke with my other cue and picked up the Falcon and the first stroke didn't feel right. It was smooth and nice to handle but almost felt generic like balsa wood.
I pulled the bumper off and she's empty...
So a standard size would be 3/16-18 bolt with integrated head for most cues, would that work on this? I would measure and check the thread pitch, but the actual threaded part of the butt is too far down to get calipers and a thread pitch gauge into.

Putting a bolt in will change how it resonates somewhat, but it still may not get the feel you want.
Somebody who knows these cues should surely be able to say what bolt thread it takes. This shouldn't be too difficult.
It looks like Aska sells that model. I think they are Canada based. You could try contacting them about it.

Didn't you get a JOSS butt in that deal? I think the Falcon is a 14 thread joint. Why not try the Falcon shaft on the JOSS and see how it plays. I would be curious.

I think it feels dead because of the weight just not being there. It feels really nice beside the weight.
I put the shaft on the Joss butt. It feels ok, haven't shot with it. The shaft joint and butt joint have about 2/1000th of an inch difference that is annoying. I'm going to take the Joss in to be refinished, I haven't seen the style on this butt before so I need to research it. I'm thinking I can find somebody to finish it to my liking and get an upgraded shaft to make it a nice dedicated player.

Maple dowel
Get a maple dowel that will fit in snugly to bring the weight up and have a solid hitting cue. Cut it to fit, coat with slow epoxy including the inserted end and the hammer it in to the end. If it feels to heavy you can drill it out till the best feel.

The Joss weight didnt work; way too thick. but I do have a beginning point for the hardware store tomorrow....
And Kidd I appreciate the info, but I'd like the option to make the cue a simpler converstion of weights.

It's a 3/16-18 set screw. I ended up getting a half inch, inch and a half and a two inch length. After I get it where I like it, I'll put the butt cap back on and call it a day!
