I've been thinking about getting a falcon cue. in light of the Mali thread...I post the same question. how doe Falcon compare to other production cues. Reason why I am intrested in Falcon is because I read that they provide a stiff hit. (which I like alot). any other recommondations for stiff hitting cues? BTW. I've been playing with a Mali for the last 13 years. and I like the way it feels. although as of the last 2 years I've been using a Predetor shaft. :)

I've been using a Falcon WS-6 (Whistler series) for the past 6 months and I love it. Very firm hit and it's a great looking cue as well. I had the shaft turned down to 12.5mm, but you can get a Predator shaft for Falcon cues as well. I'd have to say they are among the better production cues out there. A little pricey, but well worth it.

I've never owned a Falcon cue but have hit balls with one on dozens of occasions and definitely like the way they play. Karen Corr shoots with a Falcon and absolutely loves it, they do provide a stiff hit but as pointed out in the previous post they are quite pricy....to pricy for me atleast.

FYI, at one point in each of their respective careers, both Nick Varner and Jennifer Chen played with a Falcon.

I've played with a Falcon and I break with a Falcon J-B. Falcon's hit very stiff. If you like a stiff cue, I can recommend Falcon. And a simple design Falcons aren't so expensive. I think you can get one with $200 or even less...

I love my Falcon.
(Sorry....can't remember the model #)
The butt section is a smaller diameter than the Joss I used to play with.(which I prefer)
Good stiff hit.
Very moderately priced. (Think I paid @ $300 for mine)
It deserves better than me. :D

Hi Seven,
I can get Falcon cues and predator shafts at dirt cheap prices if you are interested. For example a Falcon TS-3 that retails for $470, my price would be $285. Thats about 40% discount off retail. Brand new cues not used. Email me at dooziexx@yahoo.com if you are interested.
Thanks,
Erik

There seems to be alot of pros that like Falcon Cues, some of the others that play with or have played with their cues are Oliver Ortmann, Jeanette Lee, and John Horsfall. Pretty impressive list.

I play with a falcon and love it. Hits similar to Joss. Put a 314 shaft on it it's pretty much a predator cue.

Yep. Because Predator butts are made by Falcon :)
