The falcon tour is in Rockville, Md again this weekend. My husband wants to play in it and is trying to talk me into playing in the women's part. Have not decided yet but know last time that some really good pro men played.

Anybody here playing in this event?

i think the reason for all the pro men in the other one was because the 7 ball tourney was in Baltimore around that time so lots of pros were in town..........Sue Yen Rhee is the lady to beat in the womens division of the Falcon tour......in addition to being a good player, shes also a sweetheart

Take a peek at the current points list:
falconcuetour.com

and notice the top 20...at least 10 of 'em will be there, certainly. BTW, there was a small brown man that took the cash nearby Monday night. Might be a surprise in store for MD!

Anyway, the Falcon Tour is an opportunity to get to play some really good players + ged fed (and drunked?) for less than $100 and still go to bed early (!!).

Oh yeah?!

I have never played nine ball in real competition before, so my hubbie has been showing me some stuff.

I think that the only way to get good at pool is to play good people. I have been learning some new stuff with position and english and I guess the only way to tell if I am learning it well is by playing somebody good.

I was not getting to play good people in APA very often because you have to win so many games to go up to the next level.

All right, Piglet. Who is the small brown man? I have it narrowed down to three players.

If it was Alex, maybe it should have been: A small "colorful" man. Brings personality with him everywhere.

What a let down I am...disappointment to my family and those who know me, failure at work and in love. Now this!...J/K, but I am sorry...
...Sorry to say that I have little further info on small brown man. What I've got sez much though...

He had a fancy Predator cue, NJ Tags, and won $150 @ $50per/ even, then didn't want to give up 9-7. Don't think he's a world beater/ who knows...

Parica, Santos, Pagu...they walk around pointing at people, saying, "9-6 you, 11-5 you, last 4 you". I don't think either of them would flinch @ 9-7 to just about anyone who would put up a decent wager. (yes, the guy wanting 9-7 will bet it up). Also, they have all the mags @that PHall.

Anyway, I wasn't there, just heard the sad stories.

instead of asking where you should play - why dont you go to the local ywca and play with the rest of the beginners, and stop posting with your inane ideas and questions. go hit balls and quit bothering people that have already payed their dues by hitting a couple million balls toward the pocket. tired of your apparent whining and beginners attitude on this forum. {remember i have a right to my opinion before youy reply} PS - there is a good forum to carry oiut your search for silly replies, that being the MNbilliards - located in minbneapolis, mn. there are a ton of girls just like you. {my opinion again, spend more time cooking and taking care of your socalled husband}

I think that was a little uncalled for JMB, it could be a little true though, but didn't need to be said (but you are entitled to your opinion). Bluewolf- we come here to this forum to get advise on our game, you've read the tips and how many different ways you can do things, now it's up to you and only you to put yourself on a table in a match and try what you've learned. You are not going to progress if you don't get out and experiment, win or lose, don't give up, just learn from your mistakes and remember what you did that worked and perfect that. JUST PLAY POOL!!!

No. You started the insults. If you think you can put this off on me, then you are nuts. I have done nothing to you. You are the one that lit into me.
