I think Wimpy Lassiter's personal table that he was still playing on when he passed, would be a neat one to own.

This is Wimpy Lassiters 5x10 Gandy.It has been said that 2 times Wimpy ran 500 balls on this tble and just quit and didnt continue when he reached 500.

I assure you that Wimpys table is never for sale.I play on that table often at his nephews house.Its a 5x10 6 legged Gandy sportsman with 4 1/4 pockets and still has the ol cloth on it from the early 1980s.at each pocket the metal castings are etched with the name luther lassiter at each one in which Wimpy did himself with sometype of drill bit.

First one that came to mind when I saw the title of this thread was the Rolling Stones snooker table(s). They used to have one set up backstage while on tour, and I remember seeing one fashioned with their famous mouth/lips on the legs. It was cool, but I don't know if they really used it or not.

some very nice old tables at this place. A must for anyone who lives in the GTA or plans to visit southwestern ontario

Thanks for your post. My late friend John O'Neil had a food busn. That took him up to Canada and he would eat and play at Sphericalarts, it is just the way he described it. I am glad I now have had a chance to see it.
