Ball Colors by far. They are hideous.

The Ball Colors look good on there. A variation of that 4 ball and 7 ball have been used other places before. I think the 9 ball looks cool.

I say 'dazzin'. No 'o' anywhere. Other than the MC i have no use for them. Not impressed with the product. At all.
As bad as they both are, the ball colors are worse--much worse. Pastels, pinks, and just changing the colors in general was unnecessary and was all bad enough (especially these days with high definition screens that display colors accurately), but switching a color from one ball to another (making the 5 ball purple when the 4 ball has always been the purple one for untold decades and possibly into the centuries) is the ultimate inexcusable and unforgivable sin. There is a special place in hell for all eternity for whoever came up with and ok'd that bright idea (yes I know the reason for it, no it doesn't even begin to excuse it).

Ball colors. Switching the 5 and 4 ball should disqualify matchroom from anymore decisions on pool.

Like the czar of gar, I also pronounce it “dazzin” so the name is a non issue para mi.
The black on the balls is very ugly to me. Not so terrible when only using one striped ball but switching the 4/5 colors just cannot be ignored or forgiven.

i heard someone say it was because many viewers watch on smartphones and ipads. maybe many do, i wouldn't know, i watch it on the tv and the old colors were just fine. i suspect aramith wanting to sell more ball sets is part of the equation too.
I m going to say its a push, the is no winner when either choice is a failure.
Smartphones have great screens these days too, the color switching really isn't needed. But whatever, play with changing up some of the colors, for the most part we will probably live regardless of how dumb the choices end up being sometimes.
But switching a historical color from one ball to another, as in making the 5 ball purple when the 4 ball has historically always been the purple ball? Now that is absolutely unjustifiable, inexcusable, and unforgivable. The person responsible for that choice should be burned at the stake, but first I hope they contract a flesh eating bacteria to their nether regions that they have to live with for a while before they meet the stake lol.

This is very possible. There are large numbers of users who stream things on phones,laptops and I-pad type devices these days. For some sites more than 50 % of their users view it this way.
